One of the sharpest lenses in the world is going away... a sad day

location, exif, and how to use this photo for free

Fuji recently stopped making quickloads for my 4×5 camera, so it is with a heavy heart I am selling my 4×5 gear. It will take some time as I have a pretty good collection of LF lenses (similar to the one shown here). It is a shame that Fuji will stop making quickloads, but I assume that a large drop in demand over the last few years gave them no choice.

For me it means that I will probably never again shoot another frame of 4×5 film, and that makes me sad.

For those of you that don’t know what a 4×5 camera is; well in a nut shell it is similar to the camera that was primarily used by Ansel Adams, and is still today one of the only ways to get extremely high resolution files via drum scanning.
