PERRIS, California – Yesterday, I was driving to work in heavy rain. The traffic was running smoothly at about 60-mph. The clouds broke, the rain stopped, and there was a gorgeous rainbow that appeared to arc over the freeway. About a half mile in front of me, the traffic slowed down to a stop in the normal spot it slows down every day. I glanced in my rear view mirror, and I could see the vehicle behind me was not slowing down. I decided to pull into the emergency lane, and sure enough, the guy behind me flew right by and slammed into the car in front of me. The same thing happened in the next lane over. I knew then, they were all looking at the gorgeous rainbow.
I decided to pull over and take a photo with my iPhone, and share my story.
