Personally, I always use my credit card, and then pay it off every month because if there is an error, it is not my money I am chasing. Am I right? Watch the video, and you can weigh in on the debit card vs credit card debate.

This is one of my favorite shots that I have taken of the San Diego skyline at sunrise. It has been a while since I posted my photography, so I thought I would post one of my favorites. I will get out more as the weather cools here in southern california.
You can see more in my photo gallery, just search for “skyline”.

I recently started selling ads on my blog, and I wanted to see what the actual stats were without my own page views. I also did not want to accidentally click on one of my own ads and cause some sort of click problem. I found the solution by locally blocking the ad server on my MacPro running OSX Leopard by editing the hosts file. This worked for me, but be sure to get the exact domain name for the ads you are trying to block.
This method can be used to block any domain for any reason locally.
Steps:
1. Open the terminal, and enter: sudo nano /etc/hosts you will be asked for an admin password.
2. Using the arrow keys, navigate to the bottom of the list and create a new entry like this:
127.0.0.1 thedomainyouwantblocked.com
3. Now save the entry by entering ctrl-o (control key and the letter “O”)
4. Hit enter when it asks you for the name of the file.
5. Clear the DNS Cache by running another terminal command:
dscacheutil -flushcache
6. Clear the cache in your browser, and this should work for you.

I am not normally a person that gets into politics, but this guy seems to have something the american people want to pin their hopes and dreams on. I don’t really care who gets elected as long as someone fixes the ailing economy.
Obama has charisma, and appears to have the momentum that will win him the white house, and if he wins fair and square, then so be it. I love watching these guys go at it, and just like a great sporting event, to the winner goes the victory.

I sat and watched this speech this morning, and although I am not a democrat, or a republican for that matter, this speech was truly inspiring. Bill Clinton has a unique ability to eloquently communicate the simple differences in the two candidates, while at the same he can inject enough charm to really make you believe in him, and the democratic cause.
Now most political speeches are just that… speeches, but you gotta admit, most of what he says is true. The last few yeas have been very tough for most middle class americans, such as myself, and I am sure..you. Lets help america, and vote for Obama in the fall, because we need a big change, and I need to believe in our american dream again. Many of our great administrations, and good economic booms came out of this kind of hope, and it really doesn’t matter who is the face of this change, so let’s get this guy in office.
